Costa Rica News – The supermodel Gisele Bündchen, from Brazil, praised Costa rica at a forum on sustainable lifestyles going on in Escazú.
This is part of the Omina Summit, at Texas Tech University, on Avenida Escazú.
She was one of the panelists on the first day. She accompanied the American activist and writer Paul Hawken who spoke of his book Drawdown which is about a plan to reverse global warming.
Bündchen was thankful for the invitation and took the opportunity to highlight the leadership of Costa Rica in environmental sustainability. She’s been coming to the country for many years and it holds a special place in her heart. She enjoys the people, hospitality and nature.
She invited the audience to read Drawdown and pay attention to the approaches Paul Hawken offers. “It’s really the first time I’ve heard someone have such tangible solutions,” she said.
