During the early 90s, I had my own private investigation company. It was called Silhouette Enterprises. During my time as a P.I. I did cash money under-the-table surveillance and cheating spouse cases. The business wasn’t very lucrative and I had to shut down operations. I modeled my PI skills after 3 famous detectives – the two cousins Richard Diamond – Private Detective and Sam Diamond from the movie Murder by Death. Of course, Sam Diamond is secretly Sam Spade going by the name of Sam Diamond. That would mean that possibly Richard Diamond’s real name is Richard Spade. See who these detectives are at these links:

INITIAL REPORT:
BIG INVESTIGATION – Feb 23, 2013, Saturday 1pm: Location to be at: 1859 Historic National Hotel, 18183 Main Street, Jamestown, CA – Case Manager Shirley Hasselbrink. We will be investigating many areas of Tuolunme County. We will be investigating The Stratton House, American Indian Cemetery, Chinese Cemetery, Elizabeth Fox Boarding House, Old Post Office, Barn that are all reputed to be haunted.
Carrina Hanson and I took off for this long ride to Jamestown, Ca. At the Jamestown Hotel, we met up with the people that were involved in getting this ghost tour/investigation together, they were: Frank Stanley, Developer; Michelle Lacy, Community Designer; Carol Perry – Owner of Community Buildings, Shirley Hasselbrink – HPI Paranormal Investigator and Guide, Brian James (Shirley’s friend) and our helpful informative Guide Ralph Souza.

Shirley explains that this area was the Wild, Wild West – during the Gold Rush Era. We were shown the Odd Fellows Building – a place where the Freemasons would have their clandestine meetings. We were shown Dr. Edgar Stratton’s home. Dr. Stratton was a research scientist. We learn that Black Bart would hang out in this area. Black Bart was a gentleman outlaw, that was a dandy dresser, courteous and polite to the ladies, while he robbed the stage coaches in the area. Have you ever heard the saying: “Bring me the head of Joaquin Murrieta?” Well, that is exactly what happened to this rebellious outlaw, they cut off his head. Joaquin also frequented this area from here to Stockton. Joaquin was the inspiration for Zorro. Joaquin’s buddy was Three Finger Jack, another outlaw. The land is filled with residual history, as this was the place of the Tong Wars. The Yang Wu – with 900 members would go to war with the Tong, which still exists to this very day. Special Note: This area around Chinese Camp was a land that had plenty of gold veins and quartz. Quartz is known to retain energy, energy that can be residual and paranormal in nature. Many UFOlogists suggest that the reason that Tuolumne County is part of the UFO Triangle is that UFOs are attracted to gold. In this area of Chinese Camp, there would be 5 stage coaches that would come through here in a day. The stage coaches went as far as Knights Ferry to Sonora to Stockton to Sacramento. We visited the Catholic Irish Church and we became aware of the red light district that dominated Jamestown up to the 1950s. As we entered many of these establishments, we were getting K2 hits up the yin yang. Mind you, these buildings have dead wiring. There is no real reason for the K2 hits. The K2 hits responded intelligently to questions being answered. 3 K2 meters would go off instantly to various questions asked. In the Stratton’s home, we obtained 2 EVPs, one was a Class A EVP that said “Don’t want to talk to you” when the question was asked: “Dr. Stratton, do you want to talk to us?” We investigated the US Post Office building, where some of the stage coaches would stop at. A plaque on the door reads: “To honor Eddie Webb – Stage Driver; Made Hauls from Chinese Camp to Coulterville and Groveland Areas from 1898 to 1902. Eddie drove the 1st mail stage over new Shawmet Road.
We investigated the Elizabeth Fox Boarding House. Elizabeth Fox moved from Montezuma Ranch and had a passion to teach piano to the orphans. I learned that Clint Eastwood made a movie at Chinese Camp. Special Note: I ran into Clint Eastwood in Sacramento, CA when he was filming Pink Cadillac. I wonder if during this time, he also filmed at Chinese Camp? Hmmmm. We investigated Fandango – a dancing social hall, not the place where you get your advanced movie tickets (smile). We saw the Old Gross Saloon. Shari Aresta obtained an EVP in the post office that said: “my name is Tom”. We saw a stream of huts, Ralph our Guide explains to us that these huts were farm labor camps. We investigated the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery and a few hills over is the Protestant cemetery. We obtained a clear Class A EVP that says: “Paul, I’m in the ground” when I asked if any entities were around, then it says again: “I’m in the ground”. Pretty freaky stuff. We have a possible EVP at the same cemetery that says “cold”.
Chinese Camp is filled with an abundance of history. When this place is fully renovated and developed, I suggest that you come and visit Chinese Camp for yourself. You will become a believer of the afterlife real quick, just make sure you have your cameras and digital recorders ready! Let me tell you one more cool aspect of Chinese Camp. There are historical documents that were laying around, such as a 1920s Argosy Magazine. A newspaper with the headlines: Lee Harvey Oswald Shot & Killed! Historical legers with signatures that go back to the early 1900s. Incredible!
Special Note: Becky Cardenas and Mark Tatum have a room at the Jamestown Hotel. There latest report: Becky and Mark are doing K2 readings and EVP sessions and one of their recorders is backing up to previous recordings for no apparent reason. They are checking to see if this phenomenon can be explained as a recorder malfunction, or a paranormal interference. On this investigation tonight in Chinese Camp, there were many photos with anomalies. Big Al captured a double orb with strange color tints. Of course orb photos are not proof of the paranormal, unless you can determine that the orbs have intelligent movement, to deem it as a bonafide spiritual containment field.
