The Devil’s Made of Water

Revelation 12:15 ESV

“The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood.”

I guess somewhere along the line of holy words that were surrendered by our eyes, did the shape of the devil appear. At first he was consistent, bright and beautiful. He was obedient to only himself in all of his purity and honor. Then, after a time he fell down and was cast upon the Earth.

What was once a celestial beauty is now quickly banished, turned into a dimmer version of the truth. Yet, nonetheless ambition precedes us. Yes, pride does come before the fall. So begins the bright Morningstar’s descent into the hands of man and all their fantasies of what he is and what he could then fulfill for them.

Make a wish right here and now that you would never betray yourself by your emotions, which run rampant through you. They threaten any logical movement that your mind may resist with fear and hesitation. What was your desire made on a lucky star passing by that you wanted so bad, you thought if you could just want it to happen so much that it would? But, sometimes it doesn’t and we loose our faith in the existence of the divine resonance of Heaven and all it encompasses.

So, the devil runs as king here through the plains and deserts of a forsaken land of survival and instinct. To some he is a blessing and to others a curse. Did we wish for the rain and dance to the idea of mother nature listening to us and reacting as if our spirits were one together? His sound echoes through the caves of the underworld. He is within us, driven there by God himself.

They came! We prayed and prayed and they became on the Earth. The lights of Heaven shone onto the waters of our planet. The angels of hope. It was like a mirror had handed us a reflection of what was superior, above us, glowing and swaying and changing and merging into different shapes, always going forward like a serpent through stone and time and rebirth.

The devil is made of water. He is the king of fire, the ruler of desire and a fallen flame turned immortal, only happy in it’s warm state. When I am tired and thirsty, I would try to resist you, but my body wants you first. After all, the spirit comes after the dissipation of the muddy dirt.

When the flames are out of control, the master of their army comes in the shape of you. The water quickly sends away the burning starlight into steamy, smoky air and spirit lifts off of the surface of the day and night.

Where is he? Well he is in Hell where there is nothing to drink. He is in a barren land, away from the lush gardens of a dreamy paradise where he too once lived until all around him were strong enough to stand alone. And then the seasons changed and he left with them, caught up in the direction of the wind. So free, so controlled and so quickly he would change his form until he could not be trusted ever again.

He took up favor with all the Kings of Earth. Everyone fell to his mercy, the Earth even bowed to his will. They built cities around him. He ruled over populations. He was like the number six, always changing and moving in a fluid motion, appearing upside down as a 9. From whatever perspective you stood it could become a lot of three’s streaming out of the gates of a bible like ink onto the wood. Burning up most of the lands of Earth and so black in the darkness were my eyes at first, much like everyone else’s because so black were the words that I too believed what they said and then I didn’t anymore as my memory faded and the words became grey until the white blank paper became nothing and something all over again.

So, I went back to my heart. The blood, the river of my worth. And I weighed my sins against the balance of eternal hurt. The pain seemed to be deeper when the wounds were dripping wet and fresh, but the scars were always reminders I carried more than I should have. I do not want to flood the Heavens with my tears again, because it manifested so much worse. But, the blood loves to breathe the water that echoes through the doors of my chambers where I make my home.

And the water sheds away the pain that I once had where I was drowning in the mana of angels and stardust together in an ether of forbidden knowledge, an elixir, a poison to some that only a scorpion could imagine in a harsh land. Secrets so powerful that come through the gates of space and time to bring forth a new Earth.

The dreams that I have, that flow through me are shaped by my subconscious first. He stands at the stones and washes away the inscriptions, words, thoughts, actions and accomplishments of man and God’s. In a whole city he is honored and respected for the whole world surrounds him as they worship at his shore and he finds the most comfort next to royal blood. For they will protect and honor his essence.

The goddesses of love rise up in birth at the rocking of the ocean waves as the Earth trembles at the mighty glory of his kingdom. Everything that the light touches is filtered through the color of a rainbow in a praise of revolution and new information set onto the surface.

The wheel turned by his power and I ran and ran, but I could never catch up to him as his wings were so hard they could wear away diamond and so glorious they appeared as feathers of ice that were in all three forms of time; frozen, moving and contained by the air perhaps and the spirit of Earth. It was a certain level of energy which ruled over the lower lands.

He could not be resisted by either the lion or the lamb and so they sat together here to drink the mana of life together as they wondered who would die first. All creatures spoke his name, if not by their mouths then with their hearts and minds. He was fluid, yielding to none but God and multiplying times tables, flooding and mastering the good.

But, in the end we are nothing together but elements of these presences in our surroundings that came from what was nothing and now is something and will be itself over again in a spiral of force and attraction where we come together and then separate until we feel broken instead of whole.

Well you are whole like a number. Like a fraction of God and time. Like a new possibility to change the patterns in the world because the measure of death is much shorter than life as we know from the immortals, the victors of the ages. The moment is one of transformation and dissipation, reforming, remolding, recording and redoing again. The devil is in the details of the words that I said.

You will be refined and dissolved through a reformation of effects and animation until you are nothing but still all over again. From where the seed is growing the world has been driven into a forest of desolation and isolation of a new sanctuary and rest.
