Costa Rica Entertainment – Microentrepreneurs will show off innovative products to capture the taste of ticos. Hundreds of small companies will be featured next weekend at the 7th edition of Gustico, a fair of gastronomic and agricultural origin.
One of them is Lohana Coto Argüello’s brand. She started with just one product, flavored sea salts. She learned about logistics and business and expanded to include other products like caramelized onions, spicy onion curry, tapenade of palmito, basil pesto, tomato pesto, eggplant hummus and a smoked eggplant.
311 entrepreneurs, from 64 cantons, will participate in the VII edition of the Costa Rican Gustico Fair in this 2018, from April 13 to 15, in the La Sabana Metropolitan Park. Aside from the food line products, there will also be craft sales.
Entrepreneurs can follow a process for health and other permits that is made to do by the individual without paying a lawyer $800. This is because the products often have a procedure that costs around $50.
