Costa Rica Entertainment – The Magaly Cinema, located in the La California neighborhood, will host workshops and good cinema on the next three Saturdays.
This gives us the chance to not only see excellent works but also participate in forums and film appreciation workshops.
On the 10th, El Golpe will be screened. The production presents the Chicago of the 30s, when swindlers unite to avenge a death at the hands of a powerful gangster.
On the 17th, the film Bane: Blood Pact will be featured. It’s about an insurance agent and a client who plot to murder her husband to collect accident insurance.
Lastly, on the 24th, you can see The Florida Project, the story of a low-income girl who dreams of going to Disneyland.
Tickets to watch the films and participate in the forums are ¢2,500 for general admission and ¢2,000 for seniors and students. Each event starts at 1 pm.
