Costa Rica News – The National University (UNA) offers seniors 30 free courses. Registration will be this Thursday, February 1st, from 8am to 12pm in the library of the General Studies Center of this university in Heredia.
The options are so broad there is certainly something of interest for everyone.
The classes are open to anyone over 50 years of age. The classes are free but for some the students need to provide materials.
Classes start the week of February 19th and go until the second week of November.
They are taught from Monday to Friday at different times between 7:30am ant 5pm. Most are once a week for two hours.
Some of the options are hydroponics, computing, Portuguese, dance, aikibudo (a martial art), embroidery, embossed art, cactus and succulents, singing in other languages, culture, decoupage, entrepreneurship, Bible, crafts, ragdolls, painting, porcelain, quilting, and literary workshop.
