More & More People Retiring in Costa Rica

Costa Rica Retirement – Between 2013 and 2016, Costa Rica has granted 1,348 foreign pensioners a temporary residence in the country, according to data from the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration.

The retired people who want to live in Costa Rica must demonstrate a life annuity whose amount is at least $1,000 per month.

The country is attractive to foreign retirees for many reasons. It has quality medical services, a variety of residential options, and many micro-climates.

Costa Rica is easily accessible, safe, economically stable, and has so much natural beauty, such as beaches, rainforests, and cloud forests.
