Costa Rica News – Alajuelense is seeking 4 to 8 hectares for a project building a new stadium in Alajuela.
“La Liga” is taking out a tender in order to find the ideal place to put it if the partners approve it.
The partners of Alajuelense will have to decide whether to proceed with the sale of Morera Soto to build a new stadium. On November 25th they gave the green light to the Board of Directors to continue feasibility studies for the construction and the leadership is still working on that task, giving priority to the sporting part.
The club drew up a private tender for the demonstration of interest for the acquisition of a piece of land. Any decision made will have to be approved by the Assembly of Associates.
Offers will be received on February 12th, from 8am to 5pm.
The tender lists 20 specific characteristics it must have, such as easy and fast access to a national highway and access to secondary streets in good condition.
However, look for the offer that is accepted to be a friend or family of a government official that is overpaid for this plot of land…… that is my hypothesis.
