Costa Rica Four Seasons Bus Overturns

A bus that was carrying employees of the Four Seasons hotel overturned, leaving 33 injured, including one in delicate condition. The bus was leaving the complex at about 3:30 pm on Friday.

The bus was a 2007 Mercedes Benz model for 48 passengers. The accident happened when taking a turn. The cause is still unknown but will be investigated by the traffic police.

The Red Cross arrived on the scene to evaluate all the passengers. Five had considerable blows. Three were transferred by ambulance in intermediate condition (yellow) and one in delicate condition (red).

A similar accident happened in April 2018 in Santa Elena de La Cruz, Guanacaste. The bus was leaving Liberia carrying workers of another hotel. It was overturned, taking the life of a woman.
