A woman was arrested in Jaco as the main suspect of suffocating and stabbing a 55-year-old man, her sentimental partner. The man died on October 21, 2019.
The case is still under investigation. There appeared to be some sort of “personal problem” earlier that day, according to the Judicial Police, who refrained from giving more specific details.
The woman alerted the authorities about the death of her partner. First responders found the man lying on the floor of their condominium apartment dead.
The investigation led to believing that the same woman who alerted authorities to the murder was the one who committed it.
She was arrested on Friday afternoon and brought to the Public Ministry where her legal situation will be defined.
