Yokasta Valle, the national boxer, is well prepared to face Philipino Carleans Rivas, on February 8. The event will take place at the BN Area Gymnasium in Hatillo. She will defend her 105-pound belt from the International Boxing Federation.
It won’t be easy, as Rias has 7 centimeters on Valle, but Yokasta has a strategy planned. One of her weapons of choice is constantly throwing the jap using waist movements. She plans to use the straight line and also a lot of movement to avoid blows. She will keep little distance between them, counteract, and unload many blows fast and hard.
“We are at home and the house is respected,” she explained.
It was on August 4th, 2019, when Yokasta conquered the title in Marbella, Spain in a fight against Joana Pastrana. She has no plans on giving it up easily.
