TEDxPuraVida 2018 in Costa Rica Starts Thursday

Costa Rica Events – TEDxPuraVida 2018 will begin at 2 pm, on March 15th. Both national and foreign speakers will share innovative “ideas worth spreading” to an audience in the National Theater.

The idea is to generate deep discussions.

This is an annual event that many look forward to. Attendees will hear speakers on varied inspirational topics. Some topics include: Science for the common good, The possible utopia, The importance of letting kids get dirty, and Robots for development.

Some speakers include: José María Gutiérrez, microbiologist; Johnny Araya, mayor of San José; and Alejandra Sanchez, the first woman to organize and lead the World Olympiads of Roboitica.

Tickets start at $100 and will soon be available at https://tedxpuravida.org.

Similar events, TEDxPuraVidaED and TEDxPuraVidaJoven will be held on April 20 and 21, in Parque Viva, Alajuela.
