Costa Rica Travel – Costa Rica has long been a honeymoon hotspot. Everyone wants to honeymoon in Arenal, it seems.
There are some other lesser known spots in the country that would also make for a great lovers’ getaway.
Some family members of mine honeymooned in Tortuguero and were blown away by the beauty. Tortuguero’s canals are nice for spending the day calmly canoeing as a couple. Seeing turtles lay their eggs at night and baby turtles hatching in the morning is something spectacular the two of you will never forget.
If hues of bright green and wild animals you’ve never seen before sounds up your alley then maybe you’d like Osa. The Osa Peninsula is one of the world’s most biologically diverse places. It’s also romantic in that you can only access it by boat or plane. You can really get away with your partner here.
Then there is a turquoise river. Rio Celeste is something you’ve surely seen pictures of. The water is “Robin-egg blue.” It’s bound to give you honeymoon photos you’re friends can never beat.
