Jéssica Jiménez is Miss Costa Rica and is going on to try for Miss World. Although she is now a beauty pageant winner, she was not always confident in her looks. She suffered sexual abuse and had doubts about her physique.
She now hopes to inspire and empower young women and girls to use their imaginations to dream up futures different than what they know and not let any circumstances define them.
She has been a missionary for the Catholic church and young people since her teen years. She learned lesco to communicate with the deaf. She is a medical student. She’s started a project called The Magic of Dreams. There’s no doubt she has been changing the world and will continue to do so.
Jéssica knows that when she shines she allows others to shine. She fully intends to continue using her capacity to empower others. This will distinguish her from among 130 candidates for Miss World.
