Costa Rica Entertainment – The Starz channel just bought a Costa Rican film, “Violeta al fin,” or “Violet at last.”
This is a premium paid channel in the US, known for having the best of the best movies available. The chain has a great international name.
The sale was confirmed in the magazine “Variety.” The publication notes that the national film will begin being screened in August. Habanero Film Sales is responsible for the distribution of the film. The company confirmed the possibility that the film will also be available on Amazon Prime in Mexico beginning in October.
The film was directed by Hilda Hidalgo. It’s about a recently divorced, 72-year-old named Violeta. She lives alone in her childhood house and plans to make it into a boarding house with a lush tropical garden. Upon finding out the bank plans to take her house, she breaks rules to hold onto her beloved home and freedom.
