A pastor from Costa Rica has been arrested in the United States for abusing children under the age of 14. He used his computer to attract victims, according to the police department in Las Vegas.
A 14-year-old reported that the abuse was committed for several years. The complaint was made in the Juvenile Sexual Assault Section and the arrest was made on December 20.
The suspect’s last names are Retana Reyes. He is a pastor of a church near the 2000 block of Michael Way, near Mead Boulevard. He remains in custody in a Clark Country detention center while being investigated for different charges of sexual abuse.
His request for bail was denied because of his position in the church. It is believed that similar crimes might have been committed against others who have not yet come forth to authorities. Any other victim should contact 702-828-3421. Anonymous complaints can be made at 702-385-5555.
