Costa Rica News – Huawei products will no longer be able to use Google services in 2020, because it’s on a restricted entities list put forth by the US Government, so the company came up with a plan B.
It has started its own AppGallery where it will publish apps to compete with Google Play and Apple AppStore. The Huawei Mobile Services integrates phones, cloud, services, tools, programming interfaces, and applications.
The AppGallery will even include apps that are important locally, such as National Bank, Tigo, UCR, CCSS, Medismart, Workcr, and many more. There are already 60 apps that are often used in the country.
The brand has 1,070,000 developers worldwide working on incorporating applications into the HMS platform. The brand offers visibility and incentives for those who place apps on HMS.
