Coronavirus Worries Means Cheap Flights to Costa Rica

The fear of the new coronavirus has led many to put travel plans on hold, whether by choice or because their flights were cancelled. Flights from Europe, China, and Iran to the United States have been cancelled.

Airlines have cut flight times, especially on international routes because of decreased demand and increased cancellations. This pandemic could cost airlines around the globe $113 billion in revenue.

Still, some travelers are taking advantage of the situation. They see cheap flights and jump on them. One traveler decided to take three vacations in the upcoming days. She spent just $435 on flights to visit Denver, Carleston, and Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is among the destinations seeing cheap flights these days. Will tourists come even though we have cases of the new coronavirus? Only time will tell. Mass events have been cancelled here. Bars, clubs, and casinos have been shut down.
