US Investors Acquire Costa Rica University

Investors from the US have acquired the Universidad Latina. The previous owner is leaving its operations in Costa Rica, passing them on to the American investors, in order to focus on larger countries in Latin America.

The price of the purchase has been kept confidential. The new owners are an international educational development group. It’s leader is Douglas Becker. He was the founder and CEO of Laureate Education until 2017.

Becker is known as a visionary. He has a wealth of experience in higher education and knows all about the reality of higher education in Costa Rica, Latin America, and the World.

The university will continue its growth focused on innovation and specialized infrastructure. The students will be awarded even more opportunities both locally and internationally.
